UBEMAX UU Series 2 Platen Machines
The UU Series is a compact, two-platen machine that delivers new flexibility in plant layouts within new or existing facilities.
DIRECT TYPE CLAMPING UNIT UBE offers its high performance UU Series. This series utilizes state-of-the art compact design to provide a more flexible plant layout. Other advantages include shorter compression time and higher efficiency and durability.

FEATURES OF THE DIRECT LOCK CLAMP UNIT

Independent hydraulic cylinders are used for mold open/close and compression, reducing compression time and energy consumption.

The compression cylinder features a short stroke ram cylinder to achieve quick compression.

The moving platen is supported throughout its full stroke by the tie rods and guide shoes to provide smooth and precise motion. A three-platen design, along with an oversized, slide-base type guide shoe, provide long-term reliability and durability.

The mold open/close cylinders are located diagonally to maintain stable mold movement.

Die height and clamping force can be set automatically at the touch of a button. Further energy savings are possible by slightly reducing clamp force during cooling.

HIGH PRECISION INJECTION UNIT To accommodate a diverse range of high precision products, the UBEMAX UU Series is equipped with a standard, high-pressure injection unit. Thin wall, highly viscous products, as well as large, thick-walled products are ideal for the UU series. PPC control, optional closed-loop hold control, injection, and speed profile monitors all contribute to high quality, highly repeatable molded products.
FLEXIBLE INJECTION CONTROL Can be programmed to control injection speeds (5 steps) and hold pressures (3 steps).

HIGH PERFORMANCE SCREW Our general purpose wear- and corrosion-resistant standard screw has been designed using our vast experience as a manufacturer of both machinery and material. Special purpose screws and barrels are also available.
BARREL TEMPERATURE CONTROL Controllable to five zones for the nozzle, two for the barrel. Plastic temperature is stabilized the barrel. All heaters are PID controlled.

Injection conditions, material feeding, process management, etc., can be changed automatically according to a predetermined production schedule. Ideal for small-lot production with a large variety of parts, materials, and unattended operation.
