Mokon’s HTF 500 Series is available in two models. One provides a flow rate of up to 10 GPM, while the other supplies up to 20 GPM to the process. Mokon’s HTF 500 Series heat transfer oil systems are available up to 500°F (260°C) with a flow rate of either 10 GPM or 20 GPM in single, dual or triple zone configurations with varying heating capacities to match your process temperature control applications. Cool Oil Reservoir Design

  • Separate cool oil reservoir isolates heating loop from cooling loop

  • Only system designed to hold fluid in lower reservoir so fluid does not spill onto floor in event of a leak

The HTF 500 Series features Mokon’s proven unique heating philosophy and cool oil reservoir design, giving your process accurate temperature control.

The small heater manifold ensures a small hold-up volume of fluid within the process loop for more efficient heating and faster response for process temperature control. The individual heater orientation and manifold design allow the oil to flow in a serpentine pattern to increase the heat transfer rate and reduce the film temperature of the fluid on the heaters, resulting in longer heater and fluid life.

The “cool oil reservoir,” a Mokon trademark, has been enhanced by the incorporation of a new “continuous flow” heat exchanger immersed within the reservoir.

The fluid is cooled by forcing the released process oil through a “continuous flow” heat exchanger where it is mixed with a continuous flow of cool oil from the reservoir. This new design offers the safest and most efficient means of cooling available without the concern of “thermal shock” common in competitive systems with in-line cooling capabilities.

Eurotherm Controller

Eurotherm 3216 Series
The Eurotherm 1/16 DIN (3216) microprocessor controller is now standard on the entire line of portable chillers, water and heat transfer fluid temperature control systems. This controller is operator friendly and easy-to-use. Standard features include a microprocessor PID controller for the highest accuracy in temperature control, a dual LCD display that shows set point and actual fluid temperature, and advanced PID overshoot protection with self-tuning capabilities for increased accuracy. Scrolling text messages deliver plain language messages to let users know exactly what is happening to the process.

There are optional 1/8 or 1/4 DIN controllers available, with high/low deviation alarm, remote set point and retransmission and serial communication. A five-year warranty comes standard with the controller.
