Active Vibration Control enables molding to advance at high-speed without being stopped by take-out errors. Moreover, when working with a heavy EOAT or extending a vertical arm, it prevents increases in vibration settling time, which translates into greatly shortened cycle times.
 Arc Motion Control
Arc Motion Control gives FRA robots what conventional orthogonal robots do not have — the ability to move smoothly and swiftly along axes in an arching motion. Since vibrations do not increase as a result, Arc Motion Control helps to shorten cycle times.
 Adaptive Motion Control
Adaptive Motion Control automatically optimizes robot motions to ensure smooth transition and create the best conditions for molded products during changes in stroke that occur at gate cutting, workpiece insertion, product releasing and other positions in the cycle.
 Jerk Filter
The Jerk Filter dampens vibrations during sudden braking in order to keep robot movements smooth. It works on the same principle as a car brake when the driver eases off the brake pedal the moment before the car stops, in order to lessen the impact.

 Production monitoring
Intu Line displays production counts, uptime ratios, operating statuses, cycle times, error tallies, short stoppage logs and visuals of production floors, which users can easily view anytime, anywhere from a smartphone or PC. It visualizes molding operations in terms of short stoppage frequency and duration, which was difficult to grasp before.
If trouble occurs, Intu Line shares the customer’s error information with Yushin over an IoT system. It’s like having a Yushin service rep on-site as customers are spared the hassles of explaining what happened, which logically leads to quicker solutions.

Design Optimization has reduced the mass of moving parts by 16% from predecessor models. Compared to before, cycle times are a maximum 10% shorter on the whole and take-out cycles shorter by as much as 29%.

With post-molding inspections, assembly and other value-adding processing increasing, inline communications will help customers enhance the added-value of their molded products going forward. Moreover, the FRA series already supports PNP/NPN, therefore these robots can easily connect to peripherals made by Western manufacturers.
 Flexible Teaching
Flexible Teaching is an easy-to-use programming application that enables users to create and edit (interlocks, error processing settings, etc.) robot operation programs from a PC, using just flowcharts. There is no complicated programming. It gives users the means for managing both current resources and future equipment changes themselves.
