Maintenance and Upgrade Options for Yushin RA & YA Robots
Maintenance support for the RA-α Series ended in March 2026, after nearly 17 years of service following the end of production in January 2009. Many critical components, including control components, are no longer available due to supplier production discontinuations and inventory depletion. We highly recommend upgrading your robot system to avoid unexpected production downtime caused by equipment failure.
For Yushin RA Robots, upgrading from the RA-α Series to the current RC-SE Series offers a practical path forward. High-speed, high-rigidity design enables faster cycle times, with 12–14% faster take-out time, yielding improved productivity compared with the RA-α. The upgrade also emphasizes energy savings and environmental protection, featuring ECO vacuum and Smart ECO vacuum.
Program editing enables advanced editing of operation programs, interlocks, and error-handling routines. Production downtime means lost profit, so we encourage an immediate upgrade.
